I gotta go over this line by line and provide a cluck or two in italics…

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. - The owner of a wild animal training center where a grizzly bear killed a handler says the animal is a “loving, affectionate, friendly, safe bear,” but he is at a loss to explain how a “simple routine” turned tragic.

1st Keyword: Bear 2nd Keyword: Grizzly
Fact: Not found at Petsmart

Miller, who witnessed the attack, would not talk in detail about what happened, but said the bear, a 5-year-old male named Rocky, was trained to wrestle with experienced handlers. “It’s a playful behavior brought out on cue,” he said
Training vs. Nature
Verdict just in…Nature wins every time

The state Department of Fish and Game investigated the attack but will not decide whether the bear will be euthanized because the attack occurred outside its jurisdiction on a private site, department spokesman Harry Morse said.
..and because the bear was just being a bear. Why should HE die for being a bear?

“Stephan was my best friend. Anybody who killed him I would want to kill, but I don’t believe the bear meant to hurt him,” said Palumbo, adding that he was torn about what should happen to Rocky. “Stephan loved the bear. He and his cousin raised it,” Palumbo said.
Bears don’t really love back I suppose. Maybe they aren’t meant to star in movies or perform tricks? Maybe…just maybe…leave the wild animals alone…just as Roy Horn…he loved the Tiger…but the Tiger gave him some tough love instead. Nature takes care of the WEAK and the FOOLISH.
